Couches
Today, nothing happened. It was a bank holiday in France and lots of stuff was closed. Instead of doing actual things I fell into a K-pop-on-YouTube hole and tried to decide which couch I was going to buy, then was on the phone with my mom for almost 2 hours.
FOOD TODAY:
Chicken-breast baguette, cookie from patisserie
avocado-salmon Sushi roll
Chocolate madeleine
some seasalt and herbs Pringles
COUCHES:
There's one inherited from my mom in terms of what I want in a couch: no loose cushions. I like for the couch to be one piece with nothing removable except for maybe a few throwpillows if feel so inclined. On top of that, I don't like visible feet on most furniture really, and especially on couches. This doesn't actually leave me with a lot of options. So here are my current finalist, ordered by price starting at the cheapest:
Made.com "Juno", 1500€

It looks cool but I am not a giant fan of what looks like gaps between the individual modules. However at that price range, a pretty good option.
HK Living "Vint", 3300€
I don't LOVE-love the color and what the texture looks like, and the indentations both between backrest and seat and the tufts are not great, but it still works overall, especially considering how huge it is.
Fest Amsterdam "Dunbar", about 3500€
This one is pretty customisable and a serious contender, although I might have to go to Amsterdam to test it out, not that I'm opposed to that.
Lema "Cloud", about 5000-6000€

This one is a bit of a stretch in terms of price, a smaller version is a bit more affordable, but it is stunningly beautiful and you can add these little table-cushions which are EVERYTHING. However: I don't even know where I would try this one out? The brand is Italian but they don't have flagship store in Italy. They do have them in some other countries, Amsterdam among them, so maybe I'll try them there?
D'all Agnese "Play", 3500€
This one is a bit weird but also really fun, and definitely super interesting. The most out-there option but I am intrigued by the possibilities. You can combine this and customize it in many ways.
Hay "Soft Mag", 2800€

This was the one I started out my research with, still a solid contender but not as flexible as some of the other things, but still really nice, I already own a bunch of things from Hay, they are pretty cool.
B&B Italia "Tufty-Time", 9000€
The most perfect one of all, also the most ludicrously priced one. BUT SO PRETTY.
Bo Concept "Camo", 2700€

The current favorite; a good compromise between price and looks, plus I have actually sat on in before and it is very comfortable.
Yes and then there's a few other options which I kind of like, but none of them really set my heart on fire in any way:
Flexteam "Reef"
Fish Design "Post 4"
Novamobili "Avenue"
I have some time yet to ruminate on this, but this is the couch-part of my brain pretty much laid out as of now.
