Thinking about Countries

I want to start all of these by saying "not much happened today", but things did actually happen, they always do. I finally opened my fancy granola and had it for breakfast, which meant I basically wasn't hungry until like 6pm, so that's good? I bought it at another one of the fancy bakeries I go to, this was from KL Patisserie where I had the excellent French Toast ("Pain Perdu": Lost Bread) the other day:

I will finish the granola (I bought fiber flakes and oats to mix it with which was definitely a good idea, and I added some dark chocolate hagelslag) but I don't really remember anything particular about it. It was fine I guess?

I struggled with an assignment I got for a job interview I'm going to have on Monday (which I don't even actually really want), I hope I can figure something out tomorrow I won't be embarrassed to present.

A friend asked whether he and his boyfriend should move to Singapore, Hong Kong or Tokyo on Twitter, which made me realize how much I would still like in really any of those three cities. We discussed some pros and cons and decided that HK is the best choice for them. I personally would probably pick Tokyo so I could learn more Japanese, but HK is a close second, and Singapore is still ahead of quite a few places in Europe. Most places I guess.

One of the people I interviewed with came to Paris for the weekend with his wife and wanted to go for a drink. we had a pretty good time showing off places we'd been to and we wanted to travel to still. I forgot my bike lock so we had to sit somewhere outside where I could see it (it is too pretty for me to let anyone steal it):

I haven't used it much yet because I have to store it in my flat and I only bother to carry it down three flights of stairs when I really have somewhere to go. I did get to use fancy laser-lights today for the first time at night, which was fun! I do think I would enjoy working both in that city and with those people, but the place is nowhere near as exciting as the Far East, but I feel like a bit of a less exciting place to live would be a good idea for a while, I could get all of my dentistry and assorted medical checkups in order and just generally get my life together properly before I move anywhere else.

To finish, here's a song that just came to my mind, the worlds most shameless rip-off of "Sara perche ti amo", but in German:
